Description
The Hornet Alloy 2633 section boom, has an unrivalled stiffness to weight ratio, allowing maximum performance through kicker and mainsheet control, together with minimum excess weight. The section is optimised for high resistance against vertical bending and come with an integral sail track and lower in-boom track for mainsheet and kicking strap attachments.
The outer end of this boom has a cut away taper approx. 34cm long. The boom is compliant with the current National Hornet Class rules.
The boom is supplied with inboard and outboard ends with sheaves, plus two boom slides which allow direct attachment of the mainsheet blocks (Not supplied).
A small plastic boom deck protector fitting PN 511-804 is attached - See HERE for more details of this part. Also supplied with this boom is a Selden 511-664-12 kicker take off block fitting - See HERE for more details of this block.
